There are many reasons I oppose the Health Care Bill.
First I must express that I believe that the underlying principles of the Constitution must be 'scrupulously' guarded and protected and preserved or as may be in our current day situation, restored.
The 10 amendment is about separation of powers so that power should never be concentrated into one person or group of people. It is unconstitutional for the federal government to seize control of 1/5th of the nations economy.
In President Washington's farewell address he says, "change by usurpation; for though this, in one instance, may be the instrument of good, it is the customary weapon by which free governments are destroyed."
While on the surface it may 'sound' appealing to have the government take care of our health care needs, it will create a dependency that is destructive to our freedom. I'm concerned that our independence which was so painfully and nobly fought for and the principles which our country was founded on are being lost with bills such as this.
Of utmost importance is stopping the taxpayer funding of abortion. It is immoral to fund the destruction of innocent human life. I urge you to keep the Stupak-Pitts pro-life amendment in the health care bill that will keep the government from funding abortion. Conservative estimates are that taxpayer funding of abortion under the government takeover will increase the number of abortions by one-third.
I will close with another quote from Pres. Washington's farewell address he warns, "...resist with care the spirit of innovation upon it's principles, however specious the pretexts. One method of assault may be to effect in the forms of the Constitution which will impair the energy of the system, and thus to undermine what cannot be directly overthrown."
I am fundamentally opposed to the Health Care Bill and any attempt at government takeover of the health care industry.
The Leadership Crisis

Two Types Of Teachers
There are two types of great teachers which consistently motivate student-driven education: Mentors and Classics. Mentors meet face-to-face with the student, inspiring through the transfer of knowledge, the force of personality, and individual attention. Classics were created by other great teachers to be experienced in books, art, music and other media.

I am currently sitting here at my computer when in comes my 5 year old son - Tage.

The Coming Aristocracy
I recently attended a webinar given by Dr Oliver Demille, the founder of
Our country is facing the biggest challenge since the civil war which is the battle between aristocracy and freedom.
Aristocracy is when the law is different for upper class than it is for everyone else. The law can be written or tradition.
Very seldom do we get away from being ruled by an upper class. A lot of countries and civilizations have tried but it doesn’t last. It was the
There are different forms of aristocracy; aristocracy of families is where the law is different because you were born into a certain family (this type is usually not written but rather how we view and treat people in different classes), aristocracy of wealth is where the law is written in such a way that wealthy are treated different or better, aristocracy of credentials is where the law is written in such a way that people with credentials are given certain benefits.
The next 15 years will be the biggest battle and by 2024 our generation will decide between aristocracy and freedom and how it will be implemented. This date is a guesstimate based on the cycles of history and the information in the book, “The Fourth Turning.”
The main players in a society are government, business, community, academia, church, family and media. If we were to draw circles and place each one of these in a circle and place those circles in a line this would represent freedom; where each circle balances and checks each other.
A monarchy is when the government circle would be placed above the rest giving it a position of authority over the others and if family is in this position it would be considered a mafia. An aristocracy is when anything other than government or family is in this position.
An aristocracy can also have more than one in the position of authority including government.
It all begins with the human mind and how we think. Freedom see things as literal and logical. Aristocracy sees things as emotional. Either the masses are swayed by what is logical or by what is popular or lends status and expertise.
Aristocracy wins by hiring; experts who promote their idea through philanthropy or investing, agents who implement the idea and employees who work for the idea although they don’t usually know they are working for the idea. It spreads its message subtly (targeting the unconscious mind), seemingly chaotically, emotionally, heroically and iconically through celebrity, individually and perhaps most dangerously, popularly.
Freedom wins when citizens see what is going on and knows enough to do something about it.
There are three parties buying for power; The Economic Aristocrats which Dr Demille labels Econocrats, The Government Aristocrats labeled as Aristogovs and The Freedom Party.
The Econocrats value; wealth, success, tradition, longevity and power and see the world as:
- International – in order to create wealth
- Wealthy capitalistic – law gives special benefits to those with wealth
- Corporate – should be the central unit of society
- Technological – the thing that drives the world forward
- Pragmatic – do whatever works
- Competitive
- Elitist – those who win should run the show
The Aristogovs value; tolerance, government, authority, status and position and see the world as:
- Global – hampered by independent government
- Democratic or Redistributive – among the middle and lower class so that it is more equal while excluding the upper class
- Governmental – the government should be the central unit. They do want corporations but they should come under the government
- Humane – talk about people rather than technology but the people should be government forced
- Charitable – also government forced not voluntary
- Cooperation – also government enforced
- Equalitarian – those at the top should use their influence and power to distribute among the rest (them not included)
The Freedom Party values; initiative, tenacity, independence and service and sees the world as;
- Localist – remedy should be at the lowest possible government level
- Free-enterprising – everyone is treated equally before the law. There are fewer laws and if they have to be applied the are done so equally
- Entrepreneurial – otherwise known as The American Dream
- Familial – individuals are a unit around which we build laws
- Individualistic – establish by law which gives most freedom beyond hurting others, also known as The Pursuit of Happiness
- Creative – true free enterprise to accomplish what they need and want
- Connective – freedom opens up opportunities anyone can create and connect with others to help others
The Freedom Party seldom accomplish much in practical politics, because they are too focused on differences rather than building commonalities. They are too concerned about being perfectly right it doesn’t matter if someone disagrees with them 1% or 70%. They work in the currency of rage instead of wisdom. They see what is going on and because they want to do something about it they scream out WAKE UP! A good deal of talk radio would be a good example. The American founders showed the freedom party wins by cooperating with freedom-lovers from other viewpoints.
Much more was shared in this webinar such as the economic crisis which stems from the inability to understand and differentiate between Establishment and Governance. The basic principle of establishing good government or law is first Establishment then Governance. In our modern society only Governance is being applied.
